Alex Cornell du Houx, featured in the photo by Elizabeth Frantz and reported on in the Wall Street Journal by Ben Kesling and Michael Philips, was part of a private citizen group that rescued thousands pf people from Afghanistan in the days leading up to the final withdrawal, and the mission is not yet complete. Cornell du Houx is a naval officer and former marine, Maine State Rep and Bowdoin College graduate.
